Microsoft TechEd Europe 2012 – 25-29 June in Amsterdam

Save the following dates in your calendar! Tech Ed Europe 2012 will be held 25th-29th June at the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

This time no long trip to Germany, but driving with my own car to Amsterdam!

TechNet Live @ World Form, Den Haag

Today I’ve visited the TechNet Live at the World Forum in Den Haag. A great location and a lot of IT Pro’s, MVP’s and nice speakers from Microsoft. We’ve seen a lot of nice presentations and demonstrations from Tony Krijnen, Daniel van Soest and some other great speakers from Microsoft! This nice day started with a keynote from Steve Ballmer (CEO from Microsoft). This was also the official release of the following products:

* Microsoft Windows 7
* Microsoft Exchange 2010
* Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2

Microsoft Exchange 2010 Beta 1 available

Today i’ve installed the public beta release and here are some first looks of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. (Exchange 14)

First of all i’ve installed a Microsoft Windows 2008 x64 Server. The next step is to install the pre-requisites.

Windows 7 first looks

Today i’ve installed the Beta version of Microsoft Windows 7. It looks pretty much on Windows Vista, the setup is notting more then next…next…next.

After the installation, I’ve to fill in a username and password, setting the time zone, productkey.

Let’s have a look on the screenshots:

As you can see, it looks pretty much to Windows Vista. A few things that I immediatly saw was:

- Windows PowerShell V2, with a graphical interface. Easy with building scripts!
- Internet Explorer 8, first looks are great!
